As the healthcare industry evolves and we continue seeing health systems form from merging hospital and managed care entities, the process of provider management is now more challenging than ever. The need to make the credentialing and provider management process more efficient while retaining some autonomy at the entity level is the reasoning behind the development of Visual CACTUS/Multi-Entity.
Visual CACTUS/Multi-Entity offers a “partition” between organizations while allowing for information to be shared between those organizations. The inherent benefit of a multi-entity system is that provider data is entered once. Each entity can determine what of the provider’s data should be shared and what shouldn’t. Security is defined and determined by you and your organization.
